Privacy Notice

This notice applies to arxetic.com, the Arxetic account system, and related support communications as they exist today. It explains what information we receive, why we use it, where it is processed, and the choices available to you.

Arxetic is currently a creative and apparel platform. Features such as checkout, digital collectibles, NFC-enabled garments, wallets, marketplaces, advertising, and marketing subscriptions are not covered because they are not currently active on this website. We will update this notice before introducing new processing that requires it.

Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, username, and password. Your password is stored using Better Auth's password-hashing and authentication mechanisms; we do not store it as readable text.

Authentication and security information. We process session identifiers, email-verification and password-reset records, sign-in activity, and limited technical information needed to prevent abuse, rate-limit sensitive actions, protect the service, and keep accounts secure.

Communications. If you register or request a password reset, we use your email address to send transactional messages such as verification and security emails. These are required account messages, not marketing subscriptions.

Marketing preferences. During registration, you may optionally opt in to specific update categories (such as new collections, brand updates, or early access). Each category defaults to off, and we only use your email address for a category you have opted into. You may contact privacy@arxetic.com at any time to change or withdraw these preferences.

Information you provide voluntarily. If you contact us, we receive the information you include so we can respond and keep a record of the request.

Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure may process request information such as IP address, device or browser information, timestamps, and error or diagnostic data in server logs. We do not currently use this website to operate behavioral advertising or a third-party analytics program.

We use information to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, verify email addresses, deliver password resets and security messages, provide requested features, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose failures, maintain security, and comply with applicable law.

We do not sell personal information or use account information for targeted advertising. We only send marketing-style updates to an email address if you opted into that specific category during registration, and never through your required transactional/security messages.

Arxetic uses an authentication session cookie when you sign in. This cookie allows the website to recognize your active session and protect account pages. It is not an advertising cookie. If you block or clear cookies, account sign-in and other authenticated features may not work.

The website may also use essential browser or infrastructure mechanisms required to load pages, preserve security, and operate the service. We do not currently use a consent banner for non-essential advertising or analytics cookies because those features are not active.

We use a limited set of providers to operate the current service: Vercel for hosting and application runtime services; Neon for the hosted Postgres database; Better Auth for account authentication and session management within the application; and Resend for transactional verification and password-reset email delivery.

These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Arxetic, subject to their own terms and privacy practices. We may disclose information when necessary to comply with law, protect the service or users, or enforce our agreements.

We retain account information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal obligations, and reliable operation. Verification and password-reset records are designed to expire or be removed after their useful period.

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting privacy@arxetic.com. Some information may be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or resolving a dispute. Deleting an account may prevent access to account-only features.

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your account, or ask questions about how it is used. You may also stop using the website and request account deletion at any time.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California privacy law, including rights to know, delete, correct, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable. Arxetic does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To submit a request, email privacy@arxetic.com with enough information for us to identify and respond to your request. We may verify requests to protect account security and will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the current service, including encrypted connections, managed authentication, password hashing, session controls, rate limiting, and restricted provider access. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure, so please use a unique password and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact privacy@arxetic.com so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

We may update this notice when the website, account system, providers, or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised notice here and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the website or, where appropriate, by email.
